Loving Lately ❄️

Loving Lately: Snowy Days

I’m a Michigan girl all year round. I love getting the full experience of all the seasons.

And when it comes down to it, I love the snow. And if it’s going to be cold, you might as well have snow. It’s beautiful.

We’ve not really had a lot of snow this year, but the last couple weeks I’ve really enjoyed our blanket of white.

Although, I’m not enjoying my week long head cold-turned sinusitis… I actually could have done this week’s Loving Lately post on over-the-counter cold medicine.

But I’d rather focus on something lovely. And I have so much fun sharing my favorite Pinterest pictures. (For which I can take no credit)

    1. Hinkley Bakery on Blackstone Street was named Michigan’s best doughnut. They’re only open until around 1 (but they open early) and are often sold out before they close! We’ve driven over an hour to get there on more than 1 occasion! 🍩

      1. There was a small Greek restaurant, Plaza Coney Island, in a shopping center called Paka Plaza, now Jackson Crossing. They made the best dogs, and people bought their amazing rice pudding for special occasions. ☺

  1. I always enjoy your Michigan posts! And I agree, the seasons in my beloved MI are so beautiful! I have to post some of my old pics of the place. I will when I learn how to do that!

      1. I really don’t have a clue on scanning old photos. We didn’t have a digital camera when we lived there but you have given me an incentive to learn. That’s a sign of a good bond, don’t you think? 🙂

  2. Hope you feel better soon Sadie! All the pics you chose are delightful!! Especially loved the feet by the fire with all those goodies! 🙂

  3. Cute pictures! I must admit I like the snow a lot better as a stay at home mom than I did when I worked lol You enjoy it so much more from inside with a cup of coffee ❄️☕️

      1. Exactly! Btw, I was going to make your pasta the other night, but Chad found my bacon and cooked it for breakfast ☹️ So I’m going to try again this week…except put my bacon further back in the fridge this time;)
