sarah photo for SNI am a stay-at-home mother of four, which feels like 36, and actually is 5 when you count my husband… You know what I’m talking about.

I’m a mom in need of a creative outlet and a home cook having fun in the kitchen. I’m a huge advocate for trying to fit organic food and practices into my lifestyle as much as possible. I fantasize about living on a farm. I’m crazy about all things cheese and coffee. I can be won over with good chocolate.

I grew up with large family gatherings and always enough food to go around. That notion was passed down to me. I love to feed my brood! I love to eat. I love to entertain… Foremost I love God. My family and friends, most of whom I consider family. I’m an eternal optimist with an endless amount of likes.

I am constantly challenging myself to become a more creative writer, improved photographer, proficient cook, and kinder human being in general. I like to think I’ve got it under control, but I’m emphatic about keeping it real. I hope I can entertain you with my kitchen endeavors, testaments of motherhood, random ramblings and frequent revisions of my ‘About’ page. I try to post 3 times a week, especially on Thursdays when I share things I’m “Loving Lately”.

(Disclaimer: I add commas and punctuation in general where I think they should go; and sometimes make up words, but this isn’t a blog on grammar.)

  5. I found you over on Spearfruit’s blog and followed the gravy.. 😊
Our family gravy is very similar to yours and I couldn’t agree more about organic foods..
In my opinion they taste better, minimal processing and easier to wash off natural pesticides and fertilizer.. Love the blog title 👍
I don’t know how you find the time, but from what I’ve read so far, I’m glad you do !!!

  7. “One day,” I’m in high school cursing the entire English language as well as the puncuations and grammar that goes along with it, and the next thing I know and it’s many years later and I’m “looking up” punctuation and grammar for my blog and thinking it’s fascinating…..DAMN!!! Good luck with your blog, Zulu Delta
